The hardworking actress has joined the bandwagon of celebs who own franchises of health clubs and gyms. Recently she became an entrepreneur after being the franchise owner of the F45 gym. It once again indicates that the actress is very much keen about not only her fitness and strength but also desires to spread the concept to everyone around her.
While speaking about her decision to be a part of this franchise, Rakul said that she understands only three things and that includes food, fitness, and films. When the owner of F45, Pradeep told the actress that they were planning to expand, she immediately decided that she wanted to be a part of this fitness chain.
Since right now her work is more centered in and on Hyderabad, she will run the franchise from the city of Charminar. According to Rakul, when people think about gym they only consider an elliptical and a treadmill. But F45 is very different and focus on trawlers and ropes.

A blue belt holder in Karate, Rakul Preet Singh says that she feels grumpy and lethargic if she fails to do her workout even for a day. Her friends even tease her saying that she became an actress purely by chance and instead should have been a gym instructor. So, Rakul is very much dedicated towards her fitness routine, not because she wants to stay fit but because she just loves the whole process.
Rakul Do Not Like To Starve
And since she takes her workout routine so seriously, she can be a bit less restrictive when it comes to her eating habits. Singh recently said that she believes in following a balanced diet and eating healthy foods. She believes that the word diet has been misinterpreted and to many who want to lose weight it sounds like a torture.
Special-Diet Routine For ‘Pareshanu’ Song
Even though the actress does not like to starve herself, she had to follow a strict diet and workout regime to look hot and sexy in the “Pareshanu” song. She really looks a million bucks in the song and even overshadows the lead hero Ram Charan. But it was possible only after a lot of hard work and diet restrictions.
According to Rakul, she followed a very strict dietary regime to look gorgeous in that song. She was asked to stop drinking water during the night for four days continuously and her diet consisted only of 5 almonds, two dry fruits, one fruit and very little water. Immediately after pack-up she was made to drink lots of water and do the workouts for almost an hour.
She did not drink water from 9 pm until the morning.
Rakul Avoids Eating Junk Food
To keep herself healthy and fit, Rakul avoids eating all types of fried, packaged food and sweets. She prefers eating homemade food. She does not believe in starving and occasionally treats herself with aloo parathas and gulab jamuns.
But she is strictly against crazy diets and stresses on avoiding junk foods like breads, pizza, biscuits, cakes, and ice creams. Just as any health specialist would advise, Rakul Preet Singh prefers eating lots of veggies, fruits, and carbohydrates.
‘Yariyaan’ Actress Prefers Carb-Rich Diet
Rakul believes that eliminating carbs from the diet drains you of energy and can reduce the ability of your body to burn fat. Hence she prefers eating a carb-rich diet. Her staple foodgrain is wheat which she uses for roti. Apart from that her regular diet includes lots of fresh vegetables and dal.
According to Rakul, carbs are the suppliers of essential fatty acids, Vitamin B, fiber, amino acids, zinc, selenium, and chromium along with other nutrients. Eating a balanced diet of veggies, carbs and proteins keep unwanted snacking at bay thereby keeping the pounds off.
Rakul Preet Singh Workout Plan
Her daily routine includes warm up exercises followed by cardio, and strength training and cooling down. The warm up schedule includes dynamic or stationary stretches for around 10 minutes. Rakul believes in doing high-intensity cardio like cycling, treadmill, skipping, kick boxing-any of these activities for 25 minutes.
She also believes in the core and lower limb strengthening. And for that, she uses sandbags, weights, and tiers.
So, the film star Rakul Preet Singh is very much dedicated to keeping her body looking fit and healthy and does everything possible to ensure that she maintains herself well.
