Neerja garnered many awards for Sonam’s incredible performance including National Award which is Sonam Kapoor’s one of the best movies till 2017. The bravery of Neerja Bhanot touched all hearts around the globe. The movie was the biopic of an Indian model and flight attendant who was brave beyond imagination to save all the passengers and the kids who were on the plane which was hijacked. The movie was directed by Ram Madhavani and featured Sonam Kapoor, Shabana Azmi, Shekhar Ravjiani in leading roles.
