This American actress is known for her multiple roles as singer, songwriter and a director. Born on September 12, 1986, Emmy Rossum received instant fame after her stint in the US adaptation of Shameless, a famous British TV show. The story revolves around a less desirable family living in less desirable circumstances.
She received several nominations for her role in Shameless as Fiona Gallagher. She has also starred in several movies including The Day After Tomorrow and The Phantom of the Opera (2004). Although right now she is not starring in any movies, Rossum is still portraying Fiona in the Showtime drama-comedy.
