2. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016)
Released just a year ago, this Karan Johar directed and written movie under Dharma Productions had Sharma sharing the screen with the beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor. Fawad Khan too played a cameo.
The story explores love and takes the viewers on an exhilarating and sometimes terrifying ride. The whole story is about the journey of Alizeh (Anushka) and Ayan (Ranbir) and the appearance of Saba (Aishwarya) in their life. Anushka portrays a young woman whose principle is to live each moment to the fullest. When she realizes that she is suffering from cancer, she takes certain decisions that have a long standing effect on her close relations.
Performance Review
Anushka Sharma impressed the fans with her new avatar portraying a woman who knows her mind and exactly what she expects from her relationships. Her chemistry and bonding with Ranbir is simply great and despite sharing the screen with big stars, she never fails to attract attention.
